WE ARE CURRENTLY SCREENING HOMES AND TAKING DEPOSITS FOR OUR SPRING 2026 LITTERS

Welcome to Windy Pine Cane Corso
We are located in Cheyenne, Wyoming—conveniently situated about 1.5 hours north of Denver, Colorado.
My name is Bonnie Spiece, and I have been actively involved with the Cane Corso breed since 2004. Over the years, I have competed in both rare breed venues and the AKC, showing a variety of breeds including Cane Corso, American Staffordshire Terriers, Bull Terriers, Saint Bernards, Labrador Retrievers, and Boxers. In addition to conformation, I have titled dogs in Rally, Obedience, FastCATs, Coursing Ability, Dock Diving, and the AKC Canine Good Citizen program. I also enjoy participating in many other dog sports on a recreational basis, such as Agility, Tracking, and Weight Pull.
Outside of dogs, I enjoy boating, hiking, and spending time outdoors—activities I often share with a few canine companions. I breed occasionally and with purpose, focusing on improving my lines and producing my next generation of prospects. My dogs are rotated in and out of the house and are raised as part of my daily life.
Notable Accomplishments
Windy Pine Cane Corso is proud to be recognized as one of the top Cane Corso breeders in the country, consistently producing dogs ranked within the Top 25 nationally. Our program emphasizes quality, longevity, and breed type, which is reflected in the accomplishments of our dogs across both national and regional competition. Our dogs have had high success at shows around the country competing against the best dogs in the United States.
Some notable achievements include:
These accomplishments represent not only success in the show ring, but also the consistency and depth of the Windy Pine breeding program. I am exceptionally proud of what my dogs have achieved through thoughtful, limited breeding and a commitment to preserving the Cane Corso as a sound, functional, and true-to-type breed.
Enrollment in a puppy kindergarten or structured training program is required.
If you are unable or unwilling to devote the time and effort necessary for proper training and socialization, a Windy Pine puppy will not be the right fit.
I work very hard to ensure that each puppy is placed in the best possible home. The Cane Corso is not a breed for everyone—they require significant time, consistent training, and extensive socialization to mature into well-rounded adults. Please carefully consider your lifestyle and commitment before pursuing a puppy. Any Windy Pine dog must be returned to me if an owner can no longer provide care; I will never allow one of my dogs to end up in a shelter. I firmly believe that breeders must take lifelong responsibility for every dog they produce.
I enjoy introducing people to the breed and am often traveling throughout Wyoming and Colorado with my dogs. I am happy to arrange a meeting so you can get to know me and experience my dogs firsthand.
We prefer email as a first line of communication. We are happy to answer any questions you have about the breed. We focus on creating excellent ambassadors of the breed and always put quality above quantity.
