yWelcome to Windy Pine Cane Corso, check back often as we are continually updating our site with accomplishments and pictures. We are located in Cheyenne, Wyoming about 1.5 hours from Denver, Colorado.
I, Bonnie Spiece, have been involved with the breed since 2004. I have shown in both the rare breed venues and the AKC, showing a variety of breeds including Cane Corsi, American Staffordshire Terriers, Bull Terriers, Saint Bernards, Labrador Retrievers, Boxers, etc.. Besides showing I have also titled a couple of my dogs in Rally, Obedience, FastCATs, Coursing Ability and AKC Canine Good Citizens. I have also participated in many dog activities on a just for fun basis including Agility, Tracking, Weight Pulling, etc.... When I am not busy with dog activities I enjoy boating, hiking, and many other outdoor activities, whenever permitted I am accompanied by a few of my dogs. I breed occasionally only to improve my lines and produce my next prospects. All of my dogs are rotated in and out of the house. Most of my dogs are Champions and many have their Canine Good Citizen's, I will be working in the future on obtaining more titles on my dogs which I am sure they will obtain with ease. I am very proud of all of my accomplishments with limited breedings.
I have produced multiple Champions, many of my puppies have their Canine Good Citizens, some are working on obedience titles,
and others are just great family pets. All of which make me exceptionally proud, I couldn't be more thankful for the wonderful homes I have my puppies in.
Windy Pine puppies are raised using puppy culture protocols. Using positive reinforcements to create confident, enrichment seeking puppies. If you haven't heard of puppy culture before please visit their website, we strongly recommend you purchase the DVD "The Powerful First 12 Weeks". www.puppyculture.com They come home with their tails docked, ears cropped, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations and wormings, and a solid foundation laid by us. We also begin working on some obedience and house training before the puppies even leave for their new homes.
IT IS REQUIRED YOU ENROLL YOUR PUPPY IN A PUPPY KINDERGARTEN CLASS IF YOU CAN NOT
DEVOTE THE TIME TO DO SO YOU WILL NOT GET A PUPPY FROM WINDY PINE.
I work hard to insure my puppies go to the very best homes possible, as they are not a breed for everyone. Cane Corsi require a lot of socialization, time and effort to become a well rounded examples of the breed. Please be sure you have the time to put into your puppy BEFORE you purchase a puppy. If you purchase a puppy from me and are no longer able to care for the dog I will take the dog back as I do not ever want one of my dogs to end up in the shelter or worse. I feel as a breeder, when there are thousands of dogs that die in shelters every day, if you are bringing more dogs into this world you need to be responsible for them for LIFE.
I welcome visitors even if you aren't interested in a puppy at the moment, you are welcome to come and meet my dogs. I am also constantly out and about with dogs around Colorado and would be happy to meet up with you sometime to meet me and a fe
While extremely cute puppies, Cane Corso grow into powerful dogs that require a great deal of training and socialization to become well rounded family companions.
We are happy to answer any questions you have about the breed. We focus on creating excellent ambassadors of the breed and always put quality above quantity.
